Spring Special 'Buta Shabu Salad'

winter is nearly over~! and our beloved winter special 'Beef Sukiyaki' has been taken off and we've got new special to replace.

Shabu-shabu (しゃぶしゃぶ) is a Japanese (nabemono) hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water. which is also popular winter dish.

In spring and summer or anytime of year, sometimes we use this technique of cooking into salad dishes.

This time, at IRON PAN Japanese Kitchen, we created a dish called Buta(pork) Shabu Salad.

Thinly sliced Pork loin will be cooked in water, a bit of sake, and salt. place them on bed of crispy mixed leaves, tomato wedges, spanish onion slices, and next to meats, we've got jelly fish salad(中華クラゲ)and finished with delicous yuzu miso dressing.

It might sound different, perhaps many of you never tried something like this, but you know, why not be adventurous sometimes? this meaty but citrusy salad would be perfect match with our sakes and white wines.
